Note: Disconnected this profile from Hans Jurgen, Steyn-39, as Steyn relations as witnesses to baptisms of her three children with Hans Jurgen, Steyn-175 clearly point to the latter as husband: [1]
Groom: Hans Jurgen Steyn (wew)[8] / Hans Jurgens Steyn (widower of Nicolina Maria Elizabeth Klopper)[7]
Bride: Judith Chris(tina) van Biljon (weduw R J Loubscher)[8]
Marriage 3
Groom : Hindrik (Hendrik) Lourens Janse van Vuuren, born in 1806 in district of Uten Haag, parents Lucas Janse van Vuuren & Johanna Janse van Vuuren, died 1860[9]
Marriage 3 - According to the Probate record of her husband, they had no children of their own, but cared for the following children during their marriage : [9]
Christina Gesina (gehuwd met Diederik [Joh.] Kruger,
Petrus Johannes Laubscher,
Hans Jurgens Steyn,
Judith Christina (gehuwd met Carel [J.. H..] Minnie
Research Notes
I believe that she was married to her third husband Hendrik Lourense Janse van Vuuren even though she is not specifically listed on his Probate record as his wife. His Probate record does list a Christina Gesiena van Biljon, weduwee Janse van Vuuren, at the bottom and two of the children listed as having been brought up in the marriage do correspond with two of her own children, which points to the fact that she was married to him.[11] However, her probate record makes no mention of him and lists her as the widow of Hans Jurgen Steyn. This new information casts doubt on my previous statement regarding possible marriage to Hendrik Lourens Janse van Vuuren.[12]
